 Civil war in Yemen is often called the worst humanitarian crisis in XXI century. Now, after more than 7 years of this war, there isn't a single sign that it's going to end soon. Origin of this conflict is very complex. Firstly, until 1990 Yemen was divided to two countries, each of them with different form of government (South Yemen was communist and North was Arab state), and union of this two countries caused discontent of Southern people because of better treatment of North. Main sides of this conflict are: organization called "Houthi", coalition of Arab countries which is supporting formal president of Yemen, separatists from south of Yemen and ISIS. Also, one of the reasons for this conflict to go on is rivalry between Iran (which is supporting Houthi movement) and Saudi Arabia (which is supporting government of Yemen), because of sending supporting both opposite sides.  On 24th of August 1939, USSR and Nazi Germany signed a pact, in which they divided Central and Eastern Europe between them. After invasion of Poland, USSR started preparing for another war. Finland was perfect country to invade for Stalin. Finland's population was about 4 milion people, its army had't got any tanks and they shared over 1000 kilometer border with USSR. Then, on 30th of November USSR invaded Finland. Stalin was expecting to easily crush finish army and take control of major cities. but it quickly came out, that Finland is better prepared for this war that USSr was.  So, why USSR lost this war? Firstly, USSR army wasn't prepared for fighting in temperatures reaching -40 Celsius. Secondly, during this time of the year, most of Finland was covered in snow, and Soviet soldiers weren't equipped with warm and camouflaging clothes. From the beginning of the war in Ukraine, an image of Russian power has collapsed. After 24th of February 2022, an image of "second army of the world" quickly collapsed. Mainly because Russian army can't broke through the resistance of Ukrainian army. Since the beginning of the invasion, many Russian allies have changed its politic against Russia. For example, since 24 of February, Kazakhstan government rapidly turned against Russia, banning Russian as mandatory language in schools, or refusing to help and recognize DPR, LPR, ZPR and KPR. Secondly, after Azerbaijan attacked Armenia, Russia refused to send military help to Armenia, even though they are in military alliance. This have shown that Russia isn't a guarantee of stabilization in the region. And recently Russia illegally annexed 4 of Ukrainian oblasts (Kherson,  Zaporizhzhia , Donetsk and Luhansk), which they don't even fully control.
