Why Russia is targeting critical infrastructure in Ukraine?
Recent russian missile attacks targeting Ukrainian critical infrastructure left most of Ukraine without electricity. These attacks which repeat every 3-4 weeks are very problematic for Ukraine. Even though Ukrainian air defense shots down 70-80% of russian missiles, still Ukrainian critical infrastructure is having a hard time. According to the latest statistics, 20% of Ukrainian electric infrastructure is completely destroyed and another 50% is damaged. What changed that Russia is targeting civilian infrastructure to decoy it right before real winter starts? First of all, the leadership has changed.
